Camellia seed oil/ Tsubaki Oil is obtained from Camellia seeds, naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, anti oxidants and polyphenols. The fatty acid composition of Camellia seed oil, of all plant oils, most closely resembles human sebum. When you apply Camellia seed oil to your skin, hair or nails it is quickly and easily absorbed because it delivers the fatty acids and vitamins required to maintain a healthy skin barrier function, moderate sebum production and the healthy condition of your hair.
Camellia oil / Tsubaki Oil has a very similar composition to sebum and is therefore easily absorbed by the skin. Camellia oil contains the greatest source of Vitamins A, B, D and E and a rich source of Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids, beta-carotene, polyphenols and other moisturizing substances including Squalene. Squalene is an important constituent of human skin which acts as a moisturizer and also processes Vitamin D from sunlight.
